Dogs are my passion.

Helping their humans is my purpose.

Professionally training since 2017

If you’re overwhelmed, frustrated, or just tired of trying to train your dog with random advice from the internet, you’re not alone and you’re exactly who I help.

At Paws the Attitude, I work with real people who love their dogs and want real-life solutions. Whether you’ve got a wild puppy, a barky/fearful rescue, or a dog whose behavior makes everyday life harder than it should be, I’m here to help you make lasting change without the guilt, confusion, or chaos.

With over 8 years of hands-on experience, I’ve helped hundreds of families transform their dogs’ behavior using modern, reward-based training tailored to your dog’s needs and your lifestyle.

My journey started with a very spirited Jack Russell mix named Yoshi. He was marking and lunging on walks, guarding his food and toys, and would panic when I left, then we worked with trainer who made things worse. That experience lit a fire in me to do better, and to become the kind of trainer I wish I’d had.

What You Can Expect:

  • Training that fits your real, everyday life and not a one-size-fits-all plan.

  • Clear, personalized coaching so you actually know what to do (and why).

  • Support that’s judgment-free, practical, and yes, sometimes even fun.

  • Up-to-date guidance from a trainer who never stops learning—because you and your dog deserve the best.

When I’m not helping clients build calmer, more connected lives with their dogs, I’m spending time with my own. We love hiking local trails, visiting the beach, or just curling up at home with a good book and some dog cuddles. I also enjoy working on Rally, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, and Nose Work with my dogs. Not because we’re chasing ribbons but because it’s fun, enriching, and helps us keep learning and growing together.

I know what it’s like to love a dog who’s a little extra. Whether your pup is bouncing off the walls, struggling with confidence, or just needs a bit more guidance, I’m here to help. Let’s turn the chaos into confidence and your stress into success. Reach out today and let’s build a training plan that fits your life and helps your dog thrive.

"She came in to help and literally saved us!"

"We can’t say enough about Jessie as a trainer! We got more than we bargained for with our highly reactive German shepherd pup! She came in to help and literally saved us! Our lives were wrapped around trying to manage this dog, and she showed us how to train her so she didn’t completely turn our lives upside down. Jessie is extremely knowledgeable and gave us the tools to keep our energetic and barky dog under control while maintaining our sanity too! 😀. I’d recommend Jessie to anyone!" - Angie

If you are looking for a trainer give Jessie a call, you will be glad you did"

"Jessie did a good job training Mom & Dad to be consistent with Rylee our now 9 month old Great Pyrenees. Rylee is a great walker and becoming a good greeter. She is good at sitting, staying and waiting. Still working on her coming when called (we need to be more consistent). If you are looking for a trainer give Jessie a call, you will be glad you did."
